The Netherlands Film Festival (NFF) is launching the campaign 'Pretty good… for a Dutch film' for its 46th edition, in which the festival challenges the expression 'un-Dutchly good' because it frames quality as an exception rather than the norm. The NFF challenges the public to set aside this reservation and appreciate Dutch film in all its forms, while, according to the festival, the sector continues to grow in quality, diversity, and ambition. The festival takes place from September 25 to October 2, 2026, in Utrecht, with ticket sales for the opening film Downtown, among others, already starting via filmfestival.nl.
