VPRO 3voor12 presents the documentary *Merol: The Red Sex Shrew Is Loose*, directed by Malou Miedema, which follows Merel Baldé in the run-up to her album *Leve de Feeks*, which she describes as her most outspoken work to date. After the success of *Hou Je Bek En Bef Me*, Merol felt pigeonholed, wearing down her rawer sides for years to be taken seriously, until she grew sick of it. The documentary shows how she frees herself from shame surrounding sex, her body, and her desire to have children, while simultaneously building a community that identifies with her story.
