Fé Baan presents her surrealist-expressionist short film *Last night I stayed within myself and this morning I decided to live here* in the Imagina section of Karlovy Vary, after the film previously had its world premiere at IFFR in January 2026. Cinematographer and producer Ese Roeper collaborated with Baan on this work set on Texel, with Sergei Parajanov serving as a visual inspiration for the use of tableau, symbolism, and animals. The film depicts protagonist Rikke in a dreamlike state between Rotterdam and the nature of Texel, fueled by Baan's interest in the Dutch 'De Fantasten' movement of the 1990s. Baan is currently working on her feature film debut *Of iets met een tijger?*, while Roeper is preparing a triptych in 8, 16, and 35 millimeter.
