Aboozar Amini's Kabul, Between Prayers follows a Taliban soldier and his younger brother who is at risk of being indoctrinated. Frank Scheffer's Half Moon documents how Syrian musicians reconstruct their country's cultural memory, while Jon Earle's Feather Strength offers a decade-long look at fatherhood and care.
