The Film of Rutger, Thomas & Paco 2, directed by Hans Somers and written together with Maarten van den Broek, has received the Golden Film award after reaching 100,000 cinema visitors, with the presentation taking place in Breukelen. In the film, Rutger Vink and Thomas van Grinsven discover that their dog Paco has turned into a cat, while an unknown villain wishes the same fate upon all dogs. Blooming Media produced the film, which was released in 125 cinemas by Splendid Film, while filming for part three starts in September.
