SevilFest, the only film festival in Azerbaijan dedicated to women in documentary film, is programming a remarkably large Dutch contingent this year. The festival, which runs from July 3 to 11 in Baku with sister editions in Shaki and Lankaran, is dedicating a retrospective to Heddy Honigmann featuring four films, with Monique Lesterhuis introducing the programs. Isa Sauer's Runaway Father will be screened in the Short Local Competition, while the Best of Fests section presents three Dutch co-productions, including Memory, Cutting Through Rocks, and Whispers in May. Last year's winner, Bahar Shirin Demirel, is part of the international jury.
