Six national cultural funds are jointly launching the Interdisciplinary Scheme, a grant scheme for professional creators and organizations that integrate multiple art disciplines and therefore find it difficult to connect with individual funds. The Mondriaan Fund acts as the lead organization, while the Netherlands Film Fund, the Performing Arts Fund, and the Netherlands Literature Fund are co-implementers. The scheme opens on July 7, 2026, with the first deadline on October 1, 2026, followed by two application rounds annually in 2027 and 2028. A parallel pilot with trust-based financing aimed at The Culture is starting, implemented by the Cultural Participation Fund and the Creative Industries Fund. Online consultation sessions for interested applicants will be organized in August.
