At the Busan International Kids & Youth Film Festival 2026 (July 8–14), SEE NL and the Dutch Embassy present the focus programme Netherlands? Neverland!, which brings together seven recent Dutch feature films and several short films. The selection includes work by directors such as Erik Verkerk and Joost van den Bosch (Tummy Tom and the Lost Teddy Bear), Margien Rogaar (Lampie en Jippie No More!), Janne Schmidt (King of the Wanderers), and Meikeminne Clinckspoor (Twinkle Twinkle Little Elephant), with two films exploring Down syndrome as a theme. Marlies van der Wel travels to Busan as a jury member for the international Starlight Award, while Schmidt will personally present her film King of the Wanderers.
