Initiatives like BuitenBios, Pluk de Nacht, Cinetree's Forest Film Festival, and Focus op het dak offer diverse programs combining classics like Casablanca and Rear Window with recent titles such as Hamnet and Sentimental Value, while festivals like West Beach Film Festival and the Open Air Film Festival during World Pride Amsterdam complement their screenings with workshops, live music, and discussions that provide substantive depth to the film program.
