The Netherlands Film Fund is opening a new round for Filmfonds Shorts and KinderKort, allowing filmmakers to submit a realization application together with a producer until August 25, 2026. Filmfonds Shorts focuses on short fiction or documentary films of five to sixty minutes with international festival ambitions, while KinderKort seeks short fiction projects of five to thirty minutes for children up to and including eleven years of age. Participation is open to both higher professional education and self-taught directors with demonstrable production experience. The Film Fund is organizing online consultation sessions on August 13 and 20 at 3:00 PM, for which registration is required.
