The Dutch-Canadian feature film *In Alaska*, directed by Jaap van Heusden and Vinnie Karetak, has been selected for the Special Presentations section of TIFF 2026, where the world premiere will take place from September 10 to 20. The film follows 17-year-old Woody, played by debutant Leo Matthew Temela, who is hunted by FBI agent Susan Tarheel, played by Noomi Rapace, after an attack on an oil pipeline, fleeing to an Inuit community in Canada. *In Alaska* is a production of IJswater Films and is sold internationally by WTFilms.
