TIFF announces its 51st edition, running from September 10 to 20, with 64 titles unveiled, 35 of which are world premieres. New this year is TIFF: The Market, bringing together 150 international companies. Siân Heder opens the festival with Being Heumann, while Yan Lanouette Turgeon closes it with Villeneuve: Rise of a Legend. Notable Gala titles include Anton Corbijn's A Talent for Murder with Helen Mirren as Patricia Highsmith and Susanna White's Prima Facie with Cynthia Erivo. In the Special Presentations, Takashi Miike remakes Abel Ferrara's Bad Lieutenant, while Michaël R Roskam highlights the Belgian resistance with Le Faux Soir and Danny Boyle's Ink receives its third major festival screening.
