The Dutch-Canadian feature film *In Alaska*, directed by Jaap van Heusden and Vinnie Karetak, has been selected for the Special Presentations section of the 51st edition of TIFF, where the film will have its world premiere on September 10. The film follows 17-year-old Woody, played by debutant Leo Matthew Temela, who is hunted down as a terrorist by FBI agent Susan Tarheel, played by Noomi Rapace, following an attack on an oil pipeline, while fleeing to an Inuit community in Canada where his mother grew up. The production is a collaboration between IJswater Films, Experimental Forest Films, Uuktumiaq Studios, and EO Television, with WTFilms handling international sales.
