Astrit Ismaili speaks on Ferry Tales about his short film The First Flower. The film has been selected for the Concorso Nazionale section of Pardi di Domani at the Locarno Film Festival. The story follows Siki during one intense day in Prishtina, where desire, violence, and transformation take center stage. The First Flower is an experimental short film. It is a co-production between Kosovo, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Astrovision, with Ismaili, Dardan Hoti, and Isobel Dryburgh, produced the film.
