Tatjana Božić, a Croatian director living in the Netherlands, made *Fragments of Belonging*, an HBO Original documentary about migration and loneliness. The film follows her own nomadic life: from Russia to London, Zagreb, and finally Amsterdam, where she was always seen as an outsider. Božić deliberately plays an exaggerated version of herself, while as a director she shows no mercy for that character. The film sharply distinguishes between expats and immigrants: rich versus poor foreigners. Self-deprecation and humor make painful moments bearable. *Fragments of Belonging* is managed for festival distribution by Mokum and is a minority co-production of Spacedust Productions.
