KRO-NCRV, together with producer Every Media, is launching *De laatste zomer* (The Last Summer), the first micro-drama series from a Dutch public broadcaster. The series consists of ten vertical episodes of approximately two minutes, airing daily starting August 21 on NPO Zapp via TikTok and YouTube. The story follows thirteen-year-old Sosha at a campsite, where first love and a hidden secret define her summer. Thirsa van Lier wrote the script and Davey Driessen is directing. The series taps into the changing media behavior of young people, who are increasingly discovering stories via social platforms.
