Yan Ting Yuen presents *We need to talk about sex* at the Netherlands Film Festival. The series examines structural inequality between men and women from multiple angles. Female experts dissect the problem at both the systemic and behavioral levels. Two women from situations of extreme inequality explore their own pasts through reenacted fictional scenes. Yuen created the series together with co-director Annegriet Wietsma. The #MeToo scandals opened Yuen's eyes to how deeply inequality is embedded in society.
