Celine Daemen returns to Venice with *Nothing to See Here*, presented within Venice Immersive. The work had its world premiere at IDFA DocLab 2025. Visitors look through peepholes in a mirror box and see themselves from above, disrupting their perception of reality. The installation requires no VR headset. The box, designed by Floriaan Egbers, functions as the device itself. Daemen developed the work during an eight-month residency at the Lincoln Center in New York, partly inspired by the polarizing atmosphere in Washington Square Park. The piece explores how perception shapes our reality.
