In his thirty-minute EO documentary *The Dead Junkie Inside Me*, director Joe Hammond (28) explores the legacy of his addicted father, who died seven years ago. Hammond barely knew his father: contact was sporadic via Facebook and letters. After repeated failed relationships, he recognizes destructive patterns in himself. He travels to England to speak with family members and acquaintances of his father and to break the silence. The documentary asks the question of whether family history determines your future. *The Dead Junkie Inside Me* will be available on the 3LAB YouTube channel from September 29.
