During the Talent Awards Ceremony at the Stadsschouwburg Utrecht, the winners of the NFF Debut Competition and the NFF Student Competition were announced. Ashley Röttjers won the Debut Competition with *Regen in Augustus* and received the City of Utrecht Film Prize. The Student Competition produced multiple winners. Olivia Mos won the EY Talent Award, Noor Kolsters the Topkapi Film Prize for *Overgaan*, and Piter Reitsma the KNF Award for *Achter de wolken*. Janyar Zakholi received the Shalky Screenplay Prize for *Het Notitieboekje*. Axelle Nurhaliza Maillet won the VPRO Documentary Prize for *Perahu Kertas*. Madhiha Duynhouwer received the NAPA Award and Job Jovanović won the Best Live Pitch for *Buren van beton*.
