Marnieke Klarus has been Head of Fiction at the NTR for a year and a half. She guides writers and directors in developing films and series from underexposed perspectives. The NTR is working on, among others, Hemelrijk, a five-part series about the Dutch colonial past, directed by Jim Taihuttu and Lisette Donkersloot. Klarus warns against algorithmic thinking in series development.
