Tamara Shogaolu presents The Invisible Woman at IDFA, a multiplatform opera project about Francisca of Angola, an influential Black woman in 17th-century Amsterdam. The project combines VR, animation, puppetry, and live opera. Shogaolu partially funded the live production via Kickstarter. She aims to develop the work into a full-fledged opera.
