This year, Film1 is once again a sponsor of the Dutch Film Festival, from September 22 to October 10 in Utrecht. For example, the film channel gives its name to the Film1 Audience Award. But the channel also pays a lot of attention to home-grown films on television during the festival. From Wednesday September 22 to Friday October 1, Film1 presents the '10 days of Dutch film'. With a recent Dutch-language production every day at 9 p.m. This will be followed by the TV premiere of A Woman Visits the Doctor on Saturday, October 2, 8:30 PM.

- Thu Sep 23, 9 p.m.: The hell of '63
Adventurous drama about four participants in the legendary Elfstedentocht during the harsh winter of 1963. Director: Steven de Jong, cast: Chris Zegers, Cas Jansen, Chava voor in 't Holt.

- Fri Sep 24, 9pm: Amsterdam
Film debut by stage director Ivo van Hove about a group of people with diverse backgrounds who meet in Amsterdam. With: Mimoun Oaïssa, Marisa Tomei, Katja Herbers.

- Sat Sep 25, 9 p.m.: The misery of things
Tragicomedy based on Dimitri Verhulst's book about a family of alcoholic brothers. Director: Felix van Groeningen, cast: Sara De Bosschere, Natali Broods, Gilda De Bal.

- Sun 26 Sep, 9 p.m.: Back to the coast
Thriller based on the blood-curdling book by Saskia Noort about a single mother who is threatened. Director: Will Koopman, cast: Linda de Mol, Daan Schuurmans, Huub Stapel.

- Mon Sep 27, 9 p.m.: White light
Compelling drama about a man who searches for the kidnapped boyfriend of his ten-year-old son in Africa. Director: Jean van de Velde, cast: Marco Borsato, Thekla Reuten.

- Tue Sep 28, 9 p.m.: The life of a day
Drama based on the book by AFTh. van der Heijden in which Benny and Gini escape from one day's life. Director: Mark de Cloe, cast: Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen, Loïs Dols de Jong.

- Wed 29 Sep, 9 p.m.: The last days of Emma Blank
Drama about a sick lady of the house who turns out to be an icy dictator towards her staff. Director Alex van Warmerdam, cast: Marlies Heuer, Gene Bervoets, Annet Malherbe.

- Thu Sep 30, 9pm: Girls
Musical comedy about a musician who forms a band with his mother and her friends. Director: Geoffrey Enthoven, cast: Marilou Mermans, Jan van Looveren.

Epic feature film about a young mother who searches for her baby during the 1953 flood. Director: Ben Sombogaart, cast: Sylvia Hoeks, Barry Atsma.

Drama based on Kluun's bestseller about a successful advertising executive and his young wife who develops breast cancer. Director: Reinout Oerlemans, cast: Carice van Houten, Barry Atsma.
