Saturday evening, December 6 in Copenhagen, Denmark

The European Film Academy's People's Choice Award gives film lovers across Europe the opportunity to choose their favorite film. As one of the European Film Awards, the People's Choice Award shines a light on the people for whom films are made – the audience.

Among the winners of recent years are Pedro Almodóvar's VOLVER, Roberto Benigni's LA VITA E BELLA, Jean-Pierre Jeunet's AMÉLIE, Peter Cattaneo's THE FULL MONTY, and Fatih Akin's HEAD-ON.

Between 1 September and 31 October 2008, the European public can cast their vote at www.peopleschoiceaward.org
