EYE Film Institute Netherlands rolls out the red carpet for everyone who makes a distinctive contribution to the quality or dissemination of film education.
High-profile activities, educational materials, and innovative offerings stand a chance of winning the Red Carpet, which will be awarded next January during the National Education Exhibition. The award is accompanied by a cash prize.

National film institutions, local or regional centers for cultural education, schools, film theaters, cinemas, museums, libraries, welfare organizations—in short, anyone that offers or organizes film education—can submit initiatives in 5 categories.

A jury of independent experts determines the winners. Winning initiatives are brought to national attention via the Filmeducatie.nl portal. The Film Education Awards are therefore not only a reward for creativity and quality, but also help to identify and make accessible good film education. Participation is possible via an online registration form on the website www.filmeducatieprijzen.nl.
