Between Glances is a short fictional film of approximately 3.5 minutes about the influence of technology on human contact. When the withdrawn Zara unexpectedly meets her new neighbor Omar, she discovers that a genuine moment of connection can mean more than all digital contacts combined.

The foundation is already in place:

- There is a rough cut with the complete storyline.
- The sound design is finished.
- The color grading is complete*.

Description
For this project, we are looking for an enthusiastic (semi-)professional editor who wants to help us bring the film to the final level.

We are looking for someone to handle the final edit: refining the pacing, transitions, rhythm, and emotional build-up so that the film feels like one fluid whole. Creative input and original ideas are particularly appreciated.

We are also looking for a VFX artist who can hide the camera. It will be visible in the frame for a few seconds.

All files are stored on an SSD drive, which can be picked up or delivered if necessary.

Period
We would like to finish the film during the summer holidays so that it is ready for our portfolio and potential festival submissions.

Job requirements / profile
- You have experience with editing in, for example, Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- You have a sense of rhythm, emotion, and cinematic storytelling.
- You are reliable and have good communication skills.
- You have time to finish the film this summer vacation.
