For a short independent fiction film, we are looking for a male actor (approx. 35–40 years old) for the role of Tom. (The role of Dave has already been cast). It is a very small production. Acting experience is not important. We can try out several things and there is room for improvisation.

THE STORY
Dave has been struggling with a drug addiction for quite some time. Early one Sunday morning, he stands in a complete panic at his younger brother Tom's door. He needs money.
Tom knows this pattern all too well by now and refuses to give him money again. What starts with begging and negotiating escalates into a fierce emotional confrontation between two brothers.

ROLE: TOM
Male, approx. 35–40 years old. Tom is Dave's younger brother. He has been trying to keep his older brother afloat for years, but has reached his limit.
It involves a great deal of dialogue and emotional escalation. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can play both very subtly and fully emotionally. The confrontation escalates considerably.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
Short film of approx. 5–8 minutes. Small independent/no-budget production. It will be a relaxed shooting day where we can try things out.
