(auto-translated from Dutch Dutch)
The project is a 5-minute HKU Film first-year film. It will take one shooting day. Here is the logline:
While preparing for his birthday, son Thomas unexpectedly confronts his father Ernest about the lack of a good, loving role model during his youth.
The goal of our film is to make more people realize how important it is for human beings to show their emotions, especially for men. There is, after all, a stigma attached to this theme. We want to convey this by telling the story of the consequences of never having learned to show your emotions as a child.
What we offer
Another nice video for your portfolio. We are filming with good equipment, so the footage will be beautiful. Additionally, the video will be screened for all first- and second-year students of the HKU Film, and our fellow students will also have the opportunity to get to know you on the big screen.

Description
We are looking for 2 male actors:
1. Thomas (25-35):
A boy who has just turned 30 and is now questioning his life choices. He is sensitive on the inside, a bundle of nerves, and an overthinker. He was raised strictly by his father, however, so he tries to show his sensitivity and stress as little as possible.
2. Ernest (50-65):
A stubborn man, emotionally distant; good-intentioned but doesn't come across well. He grumbles a lot. Doing the right thing and reliability are important to him; that is something he learned from his upbringing.
Period
It involves one day of filming; for the actors, this will take an afternoon. For that reason, we would also like to see what is possible for you. However, it will be filmed between October 18 and 23.
