The new British thriller The Stone, the first feature film by award-winning English documentary filmmaker Philip Gardiner, will premiere at the 6th ECU International Independent Film Festival in Paris in April 2011. It is the first in a tour of numerous international festivals before the film is released on DVD in the US and Great Britain by Warner Brothers. Production company Reality Films has announced that a television deal for the film has also been secured in the United States and that negotiations are underway with a number of European stations.

The film features the acting debut of Dutch singer Corjan, who also wrote the title song for the film.
