ATTENTION ANIMATION FANS: NIGHT OF ANIMATED BAD TASTE AT FILMHUIS DEN HAAG

This Friday, December 10 at 10:00 PM, Filmhuis Den Haag presents the Night of Animated Bad Taste. This is a 3-hour program curated by horror and cult expert Jan Doense, a.k.a. Mr. Horror, in collaboration with Michael Helmerhorst. This journey through the dark cellars of world cinema features trailers and clips of total failures in animated films.

Themes featured include erotica, racism, and half-baked comic book heroes, such as a German porn version of Snow White and a drug-using Fritz de Cat. In short, films that beg for resuscitation. The Night of Animated Bad Taste is a 'monstrous' program ranging from old-fashioned handiwork to computer animation, from Puppetoon to clay extras and anime: all techniques are covered.
