Tunnel Vision has its American premiere at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas.
Stefono Odoardi's film premieres on Saturday, March 12, 2011, and will be screened again on Thursday, March 17, 2011, in Austin. The South by Southwest Film Festival is a festival where music, independent film, and interactive media come together.
Tunnel Vision tells the story of Mira, who works as a falconer at the landfill. With her birds of prey, she is responsible for combating nuisance caused by seagulls. When a baby's body is found in the garbage, the men at the dump soon have reason to suspect that Mira must know more about it.
The One Night Stand 2010 series is an initiative of the NPS, VARA, VPRO, the Media Fund, the Netherlands Film Fund, and the CoBO Fund. Together, they are committed to the development of film talent and annually organize the One Night Stands, a drama series for 'new makers' consisting of 8 films of 50 minutes. There is an explicit search for accessible, powerfully told stories of high cinematic quality, rooted in contemporary, multicultural society.
