Due to further digitalization in the AV sector (recording, post-production, and distribution) and competition from foreign subsidies and tax schemes, Meta Media Beheer BV has had to implement a drastic reorganization at its subsidiaries Cineco BV and Haghefilm Conservation BV. The staff and trade union have been informed that 16 jobs will be eliminated, and that forced redundancies are unavoidable.

Cineco, the digital post-production company the only one in the Netherlands with its own film laboratory, will be able to meet market demand more efficiently in a streamlined form, but retaining all its facilities.
