On May 19, 20, and 21, 2011, the first edition of the Film&Science Amsterdam festival will take place at NEMO. A lively dialogue between film and science!

The festival offers a varied program featuring scientific and creative talent from France, the Netherlands, and other countries. The Lumière Cinema hosts numerous screenings, conversations with filmmakers, workshops, and lectures. With speakers including Véronique Kleiner, Hans Fels, Redmond O'Hanlon, and David Lentink.

The Film & Science Festival is organized by the Embassy of France in the Netherlands/the Institut Français des Pays-Bas, Science Center NEMO and the Franco-Dutch Academy/the Réseau franco-néerlandais in collaboration with the CNRS, VPRO, NTR and ARTE.
