The NBF's monthly networking drinks will take place again on May 30! This networking event will start around 5:30 PM at LAB111. At this networking reception, you can enjoy a drink and a snack, and make valuable contacts among people working in the film and television industry.

After dinner, at 8:00 PM, the pitch program will start in the chapel. Attendees will be shown a preview of the Beeld voor Beeld Festival, among other things. Additionally, Marlon Wessel will give a pitch about Music & Images and MusicDIRECTOR, a music publishing house and music library for media professionals, respectively.

To eat
Following the informal drinks, there is an opportunity to enjoy a bite to eat at a discounted price. This dinner deal costs €17.50 and includes a starter, main course, and a free glass of wine. Dinner takes place at 19:00. You can register via email ([email protected]) or by calling our office (020-6646588). The dinner must be paid for immediately (!) after the meal at the LAB111 cash desk, in cash or by debit card.

Pitches
At the networking drinks, there is an opportunity to give a short presentation of approximately 3 minutes. During these pitches, you can draw attention to yourself and an interesting project. Support for visuals and audio is available, so the pitches can be visually enhanced in a fun and interesting way. You can register via email ([email protected]) or by calling our office (020-6646588). Visual material can be submitted to Nienke van der Fange on the same evening, either on DVD or USB stick. Two pitchers have already registered.

Eddy Appels (Director of the Beeld voor Beeld festival) will give an exclusive presentation about the Beeld voor Beeld festival, a documentary film festival about cultural diversity that will take place from June 7 to 12 at the Tropentheater. Naturally, with fun clips from films screening at the festival!

Marlon Wessel (Music & Images) will deliver an interesting pitch about Music & Images, a music publisher from Hilversum that has been a household name in the media for 25 years. The second part of the pitch will focus on MusicDIRECTOR, the online music library for media professionals. The pitch will, of course, be supported by a selection from the extensive range of high-quality music.
