My name is Bram Vergeer and I am an independent filmmaker. I have made various documentaries, including the film 7 Years in 2007, about homosexuality in Kenya. This film received a great deal of attention worldwide and has been screened in nearly 20 countries. I am currently working on setting up a similar project in Morocco. There, too, homosexuals live in a harrowing situation where they are publicly condemned and have no chance to be themselves. Especially in 'free' the Netherlands, a confronting film about homosexuality in Morocco will make people realize that it is not so 'easy' everywhere in the world to be open about one's orientation. Additionally, the large population of people with a Moroccan background here in the Netherlands will learn about the situation in their homeland with interest.

I am looking for people who want to support this project. This can be done financially, through exposure on a website or in a magazine, or with contacts that could be useful within the project. For a relatively very low budget, I can produce and promote this relevant documentary.
