Dear all,
For the 3rd edition, NISI MASA will organize the European Short Pitch's project from 15th of February to the 22nd of February 2009 in Andé (France).
This edition will be quite similar as the previous one (except for the pitching sessions which will all be held at Moulin dAnde).
See on www.nisimasa.com/projects/archives
- improving the scripts and helping in the production of projects: pitching sessions will be organized in front of European producers;
- out of 25 participants, about 12 contest finalists, the rest being either NM members or new candidates.
- four professional tutors involved, managing the educational aspect;
- open to all EU countries (+ Bulgaria & Romania).
The full description of the project is attached in the files.
Then, if you have a very good short film project you would like to develop, “European Short Pitch” is for you!
Deadline for application is the 31st of October 2008.
Applications for THE NETHERLANDS MeccaPANZA - to be sent at [email protected] -
your application should include:
-a CV
-a motivation letter
-the application form filed (attached)
-a script (maximum 20,000 characters).
Accommodation and food are covered. Travel expenses are reimbursed fully up to 230 euros. There's a participation fee of 200 euros; 5 scholarships will be allocated for new EU countries candidates (among which 3 are given in priority to contest awards).
Please advertise “European Short Pitch” only to a limited “circle” of people you know are currently working on good short film projects. The aim is not to repeat a script contest, and receiving many bad scripts, but few very good ones.
We are waiting for your applications!!!
PS1:
Selection of participants will be made by a European reading committee composed of two boards members: Azed Kettani, vice president in charge of Production and Fedor Limperg, Contest manager, the European Office staff (Joanna Gallardo and Matthieu Darras), and volunteers from NM.
PS2:
It's important to know that NISI MASA has not received yet an official positive answer from the MEDIA+ Program, supposed to finance this project. Taking this uncertainty into account, we still have to launch this call to respect our agenda... Some hopefully good confirmation news soon...
