This week, AVRO and Lemming Film begin filming the series *Hoe Overleef Ik…*, based on the book series by Francine Oomen. The lead role of Rosa is played by 14-year-old Roos Wiltink, and the mature supporting roles are filled by Lies Visschedijk, Tjebbo Gerritsma, Bert Luppes, Eric Corton, Eva Van der Gucht, and Harry Van Rijthoven.

Directors Remy van Heugten and Ties Schenk are looking forward to the upcoming filming period. Remy van Heugten: 'We have put together a great cast, a beautiful script, and a top-notch crew... I expect that together we will create a spectacular series.'

Simone van den Ende, Head of Drama at AVRO: 'AVRO started developing the Hoe Overleef Ik… television series two years ago. After two years of research and writing, I am incredibly happy that we are now starting to film. I look forward to a special series.'

The How Do I Survive… series consists of 12 episodes of 25 minutes and is based on How Do I Survive - the First Year of High School?, How Do I Survive My First Kiss?, and How Do I Survive - Myself?. The scripts were written by Maarten Lebens, Carly Schuit, and Fabie Hulsebos. The series is presented cross-media via television, radio, and the internet and can be seen on AVRO on Z@PP starting October 30, 2011.
