This week on October 9 and 10 at Filmhuis Cavia, the road film WILD AT HEART by David Lynch, inspired by The Wizard of Oz. In this fantastic story, Sailor and Lulu are on the run from Lulu's mother. A road full of love, sex, death, violence, and Elvis.

We are screening a different kind of road film next week on Thursday, October 16 and Friday, October 17: HIGHWAY OF HEARTACHE. In this hilarious country and western musical full of drag queens, Wynona Sue Turnpike keeps singing despite many setbacks to ultimately achieve her goal of stardom.

To wrap up these two weeks, we are hosting another Ciné INTERZONE Film Club evening on Tuesday the 21st, where a (nearly) never-before-seen classic will be screened on our big screen. For now, this is a surprise, but keep an eye on the website to see which masterpiece Jeffrey has selected.

See you this week at Filmhuis Cavia!
