The film DO NOT TOUCH MY CHILDREN has won the Grand Audience Award at the Stoney Brook Film Festival (near New York). Actress Karina Smulders won the Outstanding Performance Award. Several distributors have expressed interest in releasing the film in America, just like BRIDE FLIGHT.

There was a standing ovation lasting several minutes, and people stood in thick lines to share how deeply a mother's struggle to get her kidnapped children back had touched them. The film is based on the true story of Janneke Schoonhoven. In the Netherlands, it was the most-watched TV film ever.

The film was directed by Ron Termaat, produced by Rene Huybrechtse and Paul Ruven for Talent United, in co-production with Brigitte Baake (KRO) and Jeanine Hage (COBO). In the Netherlands, the film was released on DVD by E1 Entertainment. See the trailer at http://www.komnietaanmijnkinderen.nl/
