This week, the most Kafkaesque arthouse cinema in the Netherlands is paying tribute to one of the most admired German-language writers. On October 23 and 24, Cavia will be dedicated to Kafka, and we will screen films inspired by his work. On both evenings, Orson Welles will show THE TRIAL based on *Das Prozes*, and we will have various short films in the pre-program. Friday concludes with a fitting party.

On Saturday, October 25, Cavia is participating in the request from various environmental organizations to municipalities to turn off the lights and enjoy how beautiful darkness can be. Cavia's contribution to the Night of the Night (www.laathetdonkerdonker.nl) is the film STILLE NACHT, about five students who go in search of a rapist.

The week concludes with the theme night Straight to Video, reliving the golden age of video. On Sunday, November 26, we will be showing KUNG FU ZOMBIE, a film best described as a bonkers cross-pollination of horror and martial arts from 1983.
