Eat For This is my Body
dir. Michelange Quay (France 2007, 105 min)

Thursday December 4, 10.15 hrs
Location: Auditorium - Level 1

A visceral, hypnotic trip. Madame has come to feed the starving black masses and they have come to be fed. Hunger and desire will lead Madame into the real Haiti, where she will see and hear the land and its people for the first time. Through the reality of their suffering, she will at last touch and be touched. Eat for this is my Body is Michelange Quay's stunning debut: an absorbing, dreamlike descent into the heart of Haiti.
