B-MOVIE, UNDERGROUND and TRASH FILM FESTIVAL

From 5 to 9 September 2012, the annual BUT film festival will take place in the center of Breda. This year's festival theme is: 'Apocalypse'. The BUT film festival distinguishes itself from other film festivals by screening films that differ from mainstream cinema in terms of form, taste and content. BUT stands for B-films, Underground and Trash. 'B-films' are films made on a small budget that are not produced by a major production studio. Underground films' are films that push the boundaries of the permissible. They often contain explicit images. 'Trash films' are over the top films in terms of content and visuals. A particularly varied program is put together every year for lovers of the experimental, curious, bizarre and absurd. In addition to films, performances, art, education (BUT workshops) and a symposium are also a permanent part of the BUT Film Festival.

The deadline for submission is before June 1, 2012. In July & August, all entrants will receive a message notifying them whether their entry has been selected or not.
