I would like to introduce you to a fairytale-like, monumental, and unique location. Rugged, romantic, and charming. This communal monument, named the Metaal Kathedraal, was built as a Neo-Gothic church in 1857. Around 1940, the building was taken over by a metal factory. The architecture of the building was slightly modified, and instead of pews, bells, towers, and an altar, large machines were used for forging and welding. This combination has resulted in an industrial church that, as of 2011, is managed by artists and artistic entrepreneurs. In addition to several permanent studios, the large, open spaces of 274 m² are made available to filmmakers, among others!
