On April 19, indie band Nevada Drive presents its second album, titled 'High Resolution Blues', at Studio K in Amsterdam. Following the well-received debut album 'Fernweh', which resulted in a show at Lowlands among other achievements, the band's music has evolved into a richer and more layered sound. High Resolution Blues is sometimes light and intoxicating, then again dark and intense; the music sounds like the soundtrack of a non-existent film.

For this reason, the band invites (amateur) filmmakers to create a visual story to accompany the music and to make a short film for one of their (sound)tracks, titled 'Open Your Mouth'. The song is offered as a download for use, and furthermore, the album is available for streaming, both at www.nevada-drive.nl. Submissions can be sent to [email protected] until April 19. On April 26, Nevada Drive will announce the winning filmmaker. From that moment on, his or her film will be used as the official music video. Additionally, a foyer tour of various art house cinemas is being planned. The film will also be screened there prior to every Nevada Drive show.
