I plan to make a film based on my book "Eindafrekening", available at www.gigaboek.nl. Who can and wants to help me? It is my first time, so I am actively looking for information and people willing to help me. To give you an idea of the content, I am posting the back cover information from my book below.

Harry van Rijn (1954) wrote this book between the ages of 40 and 42. Initially, he did so to write off his experiences, but gradually the idea took shape to want to achieve "more" with his book.
He was heavily addicted to alcohol and medication from his early teens until the age of 35. He lost the battle against alcohol time and again and sank deeper and deeper into his addiction. Eventually, he was admitted to a hospital as a mental and physical wreck. Subsequently, under pressure from his family, he was admitted to an addiction clinic for a period of three months. Against all expectations, he overcame his addiction there. He has never drunk a drop of alcohol since.
The road to get here was long, hard, and full of deep valleys. Harry wants to let addicts know that it is not impossible, against all odds, to get your life back on track. "Even if only one person can stay away from alcohol because of this book, then I have already achieved my goal," is his thought.
A book full of emotions, but in a time when young people in particular are drinking more and more often, well worth the effort!
