The award ceremony for the VCP Fuji Student Commercial Award, the VPRO Documentary Prize and the Topkapi Films Fiction Prize will take place on Monday 2 July in Cinema 1 of the EYE Film Institute.

VCP Fuji Student Commercial Award
The VCP Fuji Student Commercial Award consists of an exploration trip to the Commercial Film Festival (Lions) in Cannes in June 2013 together with the Jonge Honden. The advertising industry is one of the most difficult fields to get a good start in. Talent obviously helps enormously, but you must be given the opportunity to show yourself. The Young Dogs Foundation brings creatives together at folder evenings, speed dates and workshops and organizes a trip to the Commercial Film Festival in Cannes for its members (the Young Dogs). The winner of the VCP Fuji Student Commercial Award can join them in June 2013.

VPRO Documentary Prize
The VPRO has a long tradition in documentary making and likes to encourage young talent. For that reason the VPRO Documentary Prize was established.
The VPRO Documentary Prize 2012 consists of a GOLDEN TICKET for the most promising documentary crew.
The graduating crew (maximum 6 people) can travel to Sheffield Doc/Fest in England in June 2013. The VPRO will cover the flight tickets, hotel costs (4 nights) and the 'golden' festival passes. This allows the makers to gain inspiration for 5 days, watch films, take master classes, participate in 'the newcomers day' and receive an introduction to the international documentary market.
The judging mainly focuses on how all the different specializations jointly arrive at the most promising final exam documentary.

Topkapi Films Fiction Prize
Topkapi Films, which emerged from Motel Films, has a strong tradition of working with writers and directors on their first feature film. The company was the basis of the initiative that is now known as De Overstuk. From this initiative, it is a logical step to encourage fictional talent from the Film Academy to take the next step in their career. The Topkapi Films Fiction Prize gives the winners the opportunity to broaden their horizons through a visit to the International Film Festival Berlin (worth 3000 euros).
