The world of cinema, TV, and video is changing rapidly. New cameras are making extremely high resolution (4K) accessible to virtually everyone. But what does that mean for filmmakers, producers, and distributors? And for scientists, technicians, and education? The question is no longer whether 4K is coming, but what you do with it. If you want to know more about this, come to Pakhuis de Zwijger on September 5, 2012, for the only event in the Netherlands where cinema, video, science, and business come together around the production, transmission, and screening of extremely high-resolution video.

This year's theme is: The Future with 4K. We will provide an update on international developments and showcase many examples. In the morning, we will delve deeper into the business and creative process in workshop sessions. In the afternoon, we will discuss the future: Beyond HD, Beyond the Maker, and Beyond CineGrid. And in the evening, there will be numerous screenings of new 4K productions in the presence of the creators.
