On Sunday, June 14, 2009, the third edition of the annual cinema and literature festival by, about, and for Utrechters from the city and province will take place!

What stories and images lie hidden behind the many buildings, landscapes, and inhabitants that Utrecht is rich in? On Sunday, June 14—following a festive opening—the nearly two hundred films, photos, poems, and stories admitted to the competition will be screened and recited. At the end of the day, the winners will be announced by the jury chaired by Koos Janssen, the mayor of Zeist. The winner in the 'film' category takes home the grand prize: the Rabobank Utrecht Cinema Award worth 4,000 euros.

From June 1, the full program will be available on www.utrechtoverutrecht.nl and you can pick up tickets for the festival at the box office.
