The Film Research Foundation conducts research into the Dutch and international film sector. Film Research is equipped to handle a wide range of research questions. For instance, the Film Research Foundation regularly conducts audience surveys to determine how the Dutch experience visiting the cinema. In addition, the Foundation is increasingly interested in how people watch films at home. All of this is intended to better align the offerings with the wishes and needs of Dutch filmgoers!

Recently, the Film Research Foundation has developed a new initiative: MoviePanel. MoviePanel is the website for people with their own opinions about watching films (both at home and in the cinema). Participation in MoviePanel is entirely without obligation and on a voluntary basis. By joining the panel, YOU can contribute to a better film world. You do this by making your voice heard on everything related to film. There are great (film) prizes to be won!
