The Dutch science fiction film CAPSULE has been selected for the Other Worlds Austin Film Festival. CAPSULE, in which all lead roles are played by actors from the film acting program at the Mediacollege Amsterdam, previously surprised as one of the two Dutch feature films to have their world premiere at the Imagine Film Festival in Amsterdam. The film was subsequently released in Dutch cinemas by distributor De Filmfreak. CAPSULE is directed by Djie Han Thung, written by Gerson Oratmangoen, and stars Anouk Kleykamp, Michael Schnörr, Orlando do Brito, Jet Kragt, Inge Snijders, Olga van de Ven, and Sharon Zaal.
The Other Worlds Austin Science Fiction Film Festival takes place from December 4 to 6, 2014, in Austin, Texas, United States.
Director Djie Han Thung created several music videos and short films for CAPSULE that were screened at international festivals. Previously, his short films BETWEEN THE STARS and LENS were released in cinemas in France and the Netherlands, respectively.
